WE'RE ALL BEAUTIFUL

So, you've got a head that people mistake for a helmet, or eyes as big as eggs, or a nose that deprives people of sufficient oxygen, or a mouth that can swallow a ball, or ears as wide as elephant's, or whatever you think isn't attractive? And you're self-conscious- so conscious that when you want to send a picture of yourself, you snap about 200 shots, pose in different styles, conceal your imagined 'deformities', after which you edit & edit, maybe with sepia or black & white, then pick the 'best' so you won't disappoint or turn off the person. I laugh- Really long & really loud at you.

You know, ever since I took my pictures off FB & people saw my write-ups, I usually got- & still get a number of requests asking to see a picture of me. I used to do the above stuffs(but mine wasn't half as silly as that though). But then, after sending about three or four people, I thought to myself, 'What for? For Heaven's sake, I'm the only one of me in the world. I'm the only Jargo. I'm way too special'. I was like, if they didn't like my face, they could go freak out themselves. I didn't owe anybody their acknowledgement or their lack of it. I started sending out pictures(when requested) how I deemed fit & not how I supposed they deemed fit.

Imagine you were the only one in your state who had something- maybe a heavily diamond-encrusted iPhone or a platinum-plated car. How'd you feel? Great & proud, right? You'd want to flaunt it, right? Now, imagine if you were the only one who had it in your country. You'd feel like a martian on earth, right? Yeah, you would. But those are things, aren't they?

How come is it that a whole human, someone who's got life, the only one in over 7Billion people isn't proud just because of some little thing? Just how come?

DON'T ever feel inferior because of your appearance. IF people make fun of you, join in the fun. Laugh at yourself. Trust me, it helps a great deal. If you've got big eyes- widen it. You got a supposed big head- be proud of it. You can't do anything about it, can you?

And yeah- just another thing- When that girl or guy you're trying to impress with your pictures later requests to see you & finds out you're nothing in resemblance to what you portrayed yourself to be, how'd you think you'd be afterwards thought of or talked about by that person? Think on that.

Me? I remain the handsome, proud, intelligent, light-skinned, thick-haired, one-in-over-seven-billion, world renowned Jargo._KJA
